Richard Lukunku is a Congolese–South African actor. Born on 29 May 1986 in the Republic of the Congo, he moved to South Africa as a child and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Live Performance from AFDA, The School for the Creative Economy, in Johannesburg.

He is known for playing Joshua in the Starz series *Black Sails* (2014–2015), Patrice Lumumba in the film *The Siege of Jadotville* (2016), Officer Ndereba in the miniseries *The Looming Tower* (2018), and Dr. Feza in *Professionals* (2020). Earlier South African television work includes roles in *Inkaba* and *Ashes to Ashes*, for which he received a SAFTA nomination.
