## Biography

Richard Manning is a television writer and producer. He wrote the teleplay for the *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* episode "Paradise" (1994), with Hans Beimler and Jeff King. He served as co-producer on the third season of *Star Trek: The Next Generation* and contributed stories and teleplays to several episodes of the series.

Manning co-created the series *Beyond Reality* (1991–1993). He worked as a writer and producer on *Farscape* (1999–2003), writing ten episodes. Other credits include writing for *Sliders* (1995), *When Calls the Heart* (2014) and *TekWar* (1994), and producing on multiple projects. He is a Writers Guild of America member and has taught screenwriting at UCLA Extension.
