## Biography

Richard Ney (also credited as Richard Maximilian Ney) was an American actor. A graduate in economics from Columbia University, he made his film debut as Vin Miniver in the 1942 wartime drama *Mrs. Miniver*.

He appeared in further films including *Joan of Arc* (1948), *Ivy* (1947) and *The Fan* (1949), as well as television series such as *The Outer Limits* and *Have Gun, Will Travel*. Ney was married to his *Mrs. Miniver* co-star Greer Garson from 1943 to 1947.

From the early 1960s he worked as an investment counsellor and author, writing books on financial markets.
