## Biography

Richard Nord is an American film editor. He began his career in the early 1980s with assistant and associate editing roles on films including *Wolfen* (1981), *Zelig* (1983), *The Purple Rose of Cairo* (1985), *Hannah and Her Sisters* (1986) and *Working Girl* (1988). He trained at Queens College and New York University Tisch School of the Arts.

Nord received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing, shared with five other editors, for *The Fugitive* (1993). His other editing credits include *Passenger 57* (1992), *Species II* (1998), *The Watcher* (2000), *11:14* (2003) and *The Last Full Measure* (2019). He has also worked as an additional editor on several productions.
