Richard Steven Horvitz is an American actor and voice actor. He began his career as a child performer in stage productions, including the musical *Oliver!*, and appeared in commercials and television series such as *Safe at Home* (1985). He studied at UCLA and had early live-action roles in films including *Summer School* (1987).

Horvitz is best known for his extensive voice work in animation and video games. His credits include Alpha 5 in *Mighty Morphin Power Rangers* and its sequels, Zim in *Invader Zim*, Billy in *The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy*, Daggett in *The Angry Beavers*, Grey Matter in *Ben 10*, and additional voices in *Mulan* (1998). He has also appeared in live-action films such as *The Informant!* (2009) as Bob Zaiderman and *Crazy, Stupid, Love.* (2011).

He is married to playwright Kristen Lazarian and has three children. His brother is television director Louis J. Horvitz.
