## Biography

Richard Wollocombe is a British wildlife cinematographer. He spent much of his early childhood in South America and attended Wellington school. After university he worked as a scuba diving instructor and National Park guide in the Galápagos Islands for five years before moving into wildlife filmmaking.

He has contributed cinematography to several natural history series, including *Galapagos* (2006), *Wild Pacific* (2009) and *Planet Earth II* (2016). He won a Primetime Emmy Award and has three wins and one nomination in total.
