## Biography

Richard Zajdlic is a British television and theatre writer. He studied English Literature at Southampton University and is a founder member of Ratskins Theatre Company. He began writing for television on London's Burning and EastEnders, and contributed to This Life as a writer on series one and storyliner and re-formatter on series two.

Zajdlic has co-created series including Tatau (2015) and Hooten & the Lady (2016), and written episodes of Strike Back, Ransom and Bulletproof. His theatre work includes the plays Dogs Barking, Infidelities (winner of the West London Playwriting Competition) and Cock & Bull Story (co-authored with Richard Crowe). Series he has contributed to have received BAFTA nominations and awards including Writers' Guild, Royal Television Society and South Bank awards for This Life.
