Rick Eid is a writer and producer known for his work in American television drama. He began his career as a corporate attorney specialising in mergers and acquisitions before moving into television.

Eid has written and produced extensively on the *Law & Order* franchise, including the original series, *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit*, *Law & Order: Criminal Intent* and *Law & Order: Trial by Jury*. He has served as showrunner on *SVU* (season 18), *Chicago P.D.* (from season 5) and the revival of *Law & Order* (season 21).
