Rick Hoffman is an American actor. Born on 12 June 1970 in New York City, he grew up in Roslyn Heights, New York, attended The Wheatley School and graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in theatre arts.

He began his career with a small role in the 1997 film *Conspiracy Theory*. His early television work included a main role as Freddie Sacker in the short-lived series *The $treet* (2000). Hoffman is best known for playing Louis Litt in the legal drama *Suits* (2011–2019) and its spin-off *Suits LA*. Other credits include recurring appearances in *Billions* and films such as *Hostel* (2005) and *The Day After Tomorrow* (2004). In 2023 he appeared as Thomas Wright in the horror film *Thanksgiving*.
