## Biography

Rick Yune is an American actor of Korean descent. He was born Richard Yun on 22 August 1971 in Washington, D.C. He graduated with a degree in finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1994 and began acting in the late 1990s.

Yune made his film debut as Kazuo Miyamoto in *Snow Falling on Cedars* (1999). His notable roles include Johnny Tran in *The Fast and the Furious* (2001), Zao in *Die Another Day* (2002), Kang in *Olympus Has Fallen* (2013), Master Clive Lee in *Alita: Battle Angel* (2019) and the Bank Manager in *Tetris* (2023). He has also appeared in television series such as *Marco Polo* (2014–2016) as Kaidu and *Hawaii Five-0* (2013). He is the older brother of actor Karl Yune and has a background in martial arts, including a black belt in Taekwondo.
