## Biography

Riju Das is an Indian cinematographer. Born and raised in Kolkata, he studied at St Xavier's College before completing a diploma in cinematography at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune in 2007. He has since worked primarily in Mumbai on feature films, documentaries and television.

Das is known for his work on the documentary *All That Breathes* (2022), directed by Shaunak Sen, on which he shared cinematography credits with Ben Bernhard and Saumyananda Sahi. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Das received the American Society of Cinematographers Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography in a Documentary, as well as awards at the Cinema Eye Honours and DOC NYC. His other credits include *Habaddi* (2022), *Comedy Couple* (2020) and *Ravening* (2019).
