## Biography

Rikke Asbjoern is an animator, writer and creator. She wrote one episode of the animated series *The Amazing World of Gumball* (2016).

She is co-creator, writer, director and executive producer of the Netflix/Nickelodeon series *Pinky Malinky* (2018–2019), for which she received an Annie nomination for Best Writing, and of the interactive Netflix film *We Lost Our Human* (2023). She is head of story on the forthcoming film *Bad Fairies*.

Asbjoern was born in the north of Denmark and studied at the Animation Workshop in Viborg from 1997.
