## Biography

Ro Hume is an Australian television writer. Her credits include episodes of *A Country Practice* (1982–1983), *G.P.* (1991–1993), *All Saints* (1998–2000) and *Casualty* (2005). She wrote two episodes of the science-fiction series *Farscape* (1999) and served as executive consultant on the first season.

Hume co-created *Law of the Land* (1993) and co-authored the mini-series *Heartland* (1994) with Cate Blanchett. She created and script-produced the children's series *Ocean Star* (2003). Other credits include *McLeod's Daughters* (1996), *Something in the Air* (2000) and *Time and Tide* (1999). She later moved to the United States and became a naturalised citizen in 2019.
