## Biography

Rob Cowan is a film producer. He graduated from the University of British Columbia's Film and Television program in 1980 and began his career as an assistant director in Canada on films including *Three Men and a Baby* (1987), *Stakeout* (1987) and *Cocktail* (1988).

He later worked with producer Irwin Winkler and served as president of Winkler Films, producing titles such as *The Net* (1995), *Life as a House* (2001) and *De-Lovely* (2004). In 2006 he began producing independently.

Cowan has collaborated extensively with director James Wan on *The Conjuring* (2013), *The Conjuring 2* (2016), *Aquaman* (2018) and *Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom* (2023). He has also worked on *San Andreas* (2015) and several films starring Melissa McCarthy.
