## Biography

Rob Edwards is an American screenwriter and producer. He began his career writing for television series including *Full House* (1987) and *The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air* (1990).

Edwards wrote the screenplays for the Disney animated features *Treasure Planet* (2002) and *The Princess and the Frog* (2009). Both films were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. In 2009, along with Ron Clements and John Musker, he received the Best Screenplay award from the African-American Film Critics Association for *The Princess and the Frog*.

He received story and screenplay credits on *Captain America: Brave New World* (2025). Edwards attended Cranbrook Schools and Syracuse University.
