Rob Hardy (born Robert Hardy, Jr.) is an American film and television director, producer and screenwriter. He was born on 22 July 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and studied at Florida A&M University.

With partner Will Packer, Hardy co-founded the production company Rainforest Films in 1994. His early film work includes directing and writing *Trois* (2000) and *The Gospel* (2005).

Hardy began directing for television in 2008 with an episode of *ER*. He has since directed episodes of *Grey's Anatomy*, *Criminal Minds*, *Arrow*, *The Flash* and other series.
