## Biography

Rob Huebel is an American actor, comedian and writer. Born on 4 June 1969 in Alexandria, Virginia, he began performing improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York.

He co-created and starred in the MTV sketch comedy series *Human Giant* (2007–2008) alongside Aziz Ansari and Paul Scheer. Huebel is best known for playing Dr. Owen Maestro in the Adult Swim series *Childrens Hospital* (2008–2016), for which he received an Emmy nomination, and its spin-off *Medical Police* (2020). His film credits include *I Love You, Man* (2009), *The Descendants* (2011) and *Baywatch* (2017). He played Leo in the HBO miniseries *I Know This Much Is True* (2020).

Huebel has appeared in numerous television series including *The Office*, *How I Met Your Mother*, *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* and *Transparent*.
