## Biography

Rob Long is an American writer and television producer. He began his career as a screenwriter on the sitcom *Cheers* in 1990 and served as co-executive producer in its final seasons from 1991 to 1993.

With writing partner Dan Staley he created the series *George and Leo* (1997), *Love & Money* (1999) and *Men, Women & Dogs* (2001). He later worked as executive producer on *Kevin Can Wait* (2016–2018) and co-created *Sullivan & Son* (2012–2014). Long has received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations and a Writers Guild of America award.

He is a contributing editor at *National Review* and has written for *The Wall Street Journal*, *Newsweek International* and other publications. Long hosts the radio commentary series *Martini Shot* on KCRW and has published the books *Conversations with My Agent* and *Set Up, Joke, Set Up, Joke*.
