## Biography

Rob Renzetti is an American animator, writer and director. He attended the California Institute of the Arts after studying art history at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

He created the Nickelodeon series *My Life as a Teenage Robot* (2003–2007) and directed episodes of *Family Guy* (1999), *Dexter's Laboratory*, *The Powerpuff Girls* and *Samurai Jack*. He has also worked as a writer and storyboard artist on *2 Stupid Dogs* and *Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends*, for which he received an Emmy Award in 2009. Later credits include supervising producer on *Gravity Falls* (2012), executive producer on *Big City Greens* and co-executive producer and director on *Kid Cosmic* (2021). He wrote the novel *The Horrible Bag of Terrible Things* (2023).
