## Biography

Rob Weiss is an American writer, producer and director. His feature debut *Amongst Friends* (1993), which he wrote, directed and produced, screened at the Sundance Film Festival.

Weiss attended Woodmere Academy with Doug Ellin, creator of the HBO series *Entourage* (2004–2011). He wrote or co-wrote 20 episodes of the series and served as executive producer or co-executive producer on 67 episodes. He later wrote episodes of *How to Make It in America* (2010) and *Ballers* (2015–2019), on which he was also executive producer. Weiss wrote the story for the 2015 *Entourage* film adaptation.
