## Biography

Robby Baumgartner is an American cinematographer. He began his career in New York City more than three decades ago, working initially as a gaffer on films including *8 Mile* (2002), *21 Grams* (2003), *Babel* (2006) and *There Will Be Blood* (2007). He joined the International Cinematographers Guild as a director of photography in 2009 and took on second-unit roles on major productions such as *The Hunger Games* (2012) and *Argo* (2012).

Since 2014 Baumgartner has concentrated on main-unit cinematography. His credits in this role include *The Guest* (2014), *Blair Witch* (2016), *Blindspotting* (2018), *Midway* (2019), *Moonfall* (2022) and *Not Okay* (2022). *Blindspotting* premiered in the US Dramatic Competition at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
