## Biography

Robert Bruce is a television writer and producer. He wrote episodes of the sitcom *The Golden Girls* (1985) between 1988 and 1990, and served as executive story consultant, co-producer and producer on the series.

He contributed as a writer to *The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air* (1990), *The Wayans Bros.* (1995), *The Bernie Mac Show* (2001) and other series including *Pacific Station* (1991) and *Platypus Man* (1995). He also worked as a producer or consulting producer on several of these programmes. Bruce received two Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series as a producer on *The Golden Girls*.
