## Biography

Robert Capron is an American actor. Born on 9 July 1998 in Providence, Rhode Island, he began acting at the age of eight through an after-school drama programme at the Trinity Repertory Company in Providence.

He gained recognition for his role as Rowley Jefferson in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series (2010–2012). Capron provided the voice of Bob in the animated film Frankenweenie (2012), directed by Tim Burton. His other film credits include Bride Wars (2009), The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010) and The Way, Way Back (2013). He has also appeared in The Three Stooges (2012) and The Polka King (2017).

His mother, Kaye Capron, portrayed his character's mother in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Capron has been credited under the names Robert B. Capron and Robert Banfield Capron.
