Robert East, also credited as Robert Gwyn East, is a Welsh actor. He was born on 7 July 1943 in Porthcawl, Wales.

East has worked in theatre and television since the late 1960s. He wrote the play *Incident at Tulse Hill*, first produced at the Hampstead Theatre in December 1981 and directed by Harold Pinter. He is known for playing Harry, Prince of Wales, in the BBC series *Blackadder* (1983). Other television roles include appearances in *Dave Allen at Large* (1973–1979), *Yes Minister* (1982), *'Allo 'Allo!* (1991), *Spooks* (2008) and *The Witness for the Prosecution* (2016). His film credits include *Figures in a Landscape* (1970) and *Jojo Rabbit* (2019).
