Robert Foulk (also credited as Robert C. Foulk) was an American character actor who appeared in numerous films and television series from the late 1940s to the 1970s. Born in Philadelphia, he attended the University of Pennsylvania before pursuing acting. He had Broadway credits in the 1930s, including productions of *As Husbands Go*, *Boy Meets Girl* and *Brother Rat*, and later worked as a dialogue director before making his screen debut.

Foulk was frequently cast in supporting roles as policemen, sheriffs and other authority figures. He is known for uncredited appearances in *Singin' in the Rain* (1952), *Gentlemen Prefer Blondes* (1953), *East of Eden* (1955) and *Rebel Without a Cause* (1955), as well as credited parts in *White Heat* (1949), *Ocean's Eleven* (1960) and *The Love Bug* (1968). On television he had a recurring role as Sheriff H. Miller in the CBS series *Lassie* (1958–1962) and appeared in multiple episodes of *Bonanza*, *The Rifleman*, *Father Knows Best* and *Perry Mason*.
