## Biography

Robert Fox (1952–2026) was an English theatre and film producer. Born in Cuckfield, West Sussex, he was the younger brother of actors Edward Fox and James Fox and formed Robert Fox Ltd in 1980. He produced extensively in the West End and on Broadway, with credits including Another Country, Skylight, Amy's View, Closer and The Audience.

In film and television, Fox produced The Hours (2002) with Scott Rudin and Iris (2001), both of which received Academy Award recognition. He was executive producer on Closer (2004), Notes on a Scandal (2006), Atonement (2007) and the Netflix series The Crown (2016–2023). He died in London on 20 March 2026.
