## Biography

Robert Foxworth is an American actor born on 1 November 1941 in Houston, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from Carnegie Mellon University and began his career as a stage actor, notably performing at Washington, D.C.'s Arena Stage.

Foxworth is known for his television roles as Chase Gioberti in *Falcon Crest* (1981–1987) and Bernard Chenowith in *Six Feet Under* (2001–2003). He appeared as Tommy Barton in the film *Syriana* (2005) and voiced Ratchet in the *Transformers* films (2007–2014). Other credits include guest appearances in *Stargate SG-1*, *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* and *Bones*.

He was married to actress Elizabeth Montgomery from 1993 until her death in 1995 and has been married to Stacey Thomas since 1998. Foxworth was active from 1969 to 2019.
