Robert Gilbert is a British and American actor. Born in Hammersmith, London, he holds dual citizenship and was raised between England and the United States. He trained at a drama school in Liverpool before beginning his career in London.

He has performed on stage with the Royal Shakespeare Company and in the West End, as well as at Lincoln Center and Shakespeare in the Park in New York.
