## Biography

Robert Greenhut, also credited as Bob Greenhut, is an American film producer. Born in New York City on 18 December 1942, he studied music at the University of Miami before entering the film industry as a production assistant on Arthur Hiller's *The Tiger Makes Out* (1967). He advanced through production roles over the following years.

Greenhut began a long collaboration with Woody Allen on *The Front* (1976) as associate producer. He served as executive producer and production manager on *Annie Hall* (1977) and went on to produce or executive produce every Allen film through to *Everyone Says I Love You* (1996). His other credits include *A League of Their Own* (1992), *Bullets Over Broadway* (1994) and *Husbands and Wives* (1992). He has also worked with directors including Mike Nichols and Penny Marshall.

In 1989 Greenhut received the Crystal Apple Award from the New York City Mayor's Film Office and the Eastman Kodak Award for lifetime achievement.
