## Biography

Robert F. Hughes (born Robert Forrest Hughes, 16 October 1961) is an American television director and producer. He began directing in the early 1990s on Nickelodeon series including *Rocko's Modern Life* and *The Angry Beavers*, the latter of which earned him a World Animation Celebration award for best director of a daytime series.

Hughes joined Disney Television Animation in 2006 as a producer and director on *Phineas and Ferb* (2007), where he also wrote episodes and co-wrote songs. He directed the 2011 film *Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension* and later worked as producer and director on *Milo Murphy's Law* (2016). His other credits include *Bunnicula*, *Tom and Jerry in New York* and various retakes and timing roles on series such as *Family Guy* and *Krapopolis*. He has received multiple Emmy nominations for his work on *Phineas and Ferb* and *Milo Murphy's Law*.
