## Biography

Robert Kirkman is an American comic book writer, screenwriter and producer. He was born on 30 November 1978 in Lexington, Kentucky.

Kirkman co-created the comic book series *The Walking Dead* and *Invincible* for Image Comics. He serves as a partner and COO at Image Comics and co-founded Skybound Entertainment in 2010.

He has written episodes of the television series *The Walking Dead* (2010) and acted as executive producer on it and its spin-offs. Kirkman received story credit on the film *Renfield* (2023), on which he also served as producer.
