Robert L. Baird is an American screenwriter. He received screenplay and story credits on the 2014 Walt Disney Animation Studios film *Big Hero 6*.

Baird has worked extensively with Pixar Animation Studios. He contributed story and screenplay to *Monsters University* (2013) and additional screenplay material to *Monsters, Inc.* (2001). He frequently collaborated with writer Daniel Gerson on these and other projects.

His other credits include the screenplay for *Ferdinand* (2017) and screenplay and story for *Nimona* (2023). He began his career writing for television series before moving into feature animation.
