## Biography

Robert L. Boyett is an American television and film producer. Born in 1942, he grew up in Atlanta and moved to New York City, where he worked as a development executive at ABC and later as senior vice president at Paramount Television. He served as a creative consultant on *Happy Days* before joining Miller-Milkis Productions in 1978, forming Miller-Milkis-Boyett Productions.

The company, later known as Miller-Boyett Productions, produced numerous family-oriented sitcoms including *Perfect Strangers* (1986), *Full House* (1987), *Family Matters* (1989) and *Step by Step* (1991). Boyett was an executive producer on many of these series. He also produced the 1982 film *The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas*.

Following the company's dissolution, Boyett produced for the stage and returned to television under Robert L. Boyett Productions, serving as executive producer on the *Full House* sequel *Fuller House* (2016).
