Robert L. Kimble was an American film and television editor. Born on 6 October 1921, he worked on numerous episodic series and television films from the 1960s until his death on 15 July 1990.

His editing credits include episodes of *Kojak* (1973), *Battlestar Galactica* (1978), *T. J. Hooker* (1982), *The Equalizer* (1985) and the miniseries *Masada* (1981), as well as the feature film *Fuzz* (1972). He also directed, wrote and produced the 1961 film *Forbid Them Not* and was a member of the American Cinema Editors.
