## Biography

Robert Michael Geisler is an American film and theatre producer. In partnership with John Roberdeau since 1979, he produced Terrence Malick's *The Thin Red Line* (1998), which received seven Academy Award nominations including Best Picture.

Their earlier credits include executive producer on Robert Altman's *Streamers* (1983) and *Secret Friends* (1991). Geisler also produced the Broadway revival of Eugene O'Neill's *Strange Interlude* (1985), which earned six Tony Award nominations.
