Robert N. Lee was an American screenwriter. He wrote for 31 films between 1922 and 1945.

Lee received an Academy Award nomination for Adapted Screenplay for *Little Caesar* (1931). His other credits include *Underworld* (1927), *The Kennel Murder Case* (1933) and *Tower of London* (1939). He was born in Butte, Montana, and died in Hollywood, California. His brother was the director Rowland V. Lee.
