Robert Richman, also credited as Bob Richman, is an American cinematographer specialising in documentary films. He was born in Brooklyn, New York City. He began his career as a production assistant for Albert and David Maysles and later worked as a camera assistant and operator on their projects before becoming a director of photography.

Richman has served as cinematographer or director of photography on numerous documentaries, including *An Inconvenient Truth* (2006), *Metallica: Some Kind of Monster* (2004), the *Paradise Lost* trilogy (1996–2012), *The September Issue* (2009) and *Whitey: United States of America v.
