## Biography

Robert Rzesacz is a German film editor. He was born in 1977 in Munich and began working as an editor in advertising from 2001, also serving as assistant editor on early feature films including *Nichts bereuen* (2001) and *Verschwende deine Jugend* (2003).

He became a freelance editor around 2009. Rzesacz edited *Das letzte Schweigen* (2010) and *König von Deutschland* (2013), and received the Deutscher Filmpreis for best editing for *Who Am I – Kein System ist sicher* (2014). He edited five episodes of the series *Dark* (2017–2019), as well as *Sleepless* (2017), *Kidnapping Stella* (2019), *Prey* (2021) and episodes of *Tatort* and *The Empress* (2022).
