## Biography

Robert Sallin is an American producer and director. He produced the 1982 film *Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan*, his only feature film credit as producer. The production was overseen with a significantly reduced budget compared to the previous film in the series.

Sallin graduated from UCLA's film school in 1953. He built a career in advertising, founding Kaleidoscope Productions and directing nearly 2,000 television commercials. Earlier credits include directing the 1969 feature *The Picasso Summer* and episodes of television series such as *Riptide* and *The Mississippi*. He later served as second unit director on the 1995 film *Assassins*.
