## Biography

Robert Singer is an American television producer, director and writer. Born on 3 January 1944, he is best known for his long association with the series *Supernatural* (2005–2020), serving as executive producer and directing 48 episodes while contributing occasional scripts.

He directed one episode of *Smallville* (2002) and has directed for series including *Monk* (2005), *Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman* and *The Fugitive*. Singer created the series *Reasonable Doubts* and produced the film *Cujo* (1983). He is married to writer and producer Eugenie Ross-Leming.
