Robert Soderberg (also credited as Robert W. Soderberg) was an American screenwriter and television writer. Born on 22 June 1915 in Lakewood, Ohio, he died on 9 April 1996 in Santa Barbara, California.

His early film credits include the screenplay for *The Reckless Moment* (1949), additional dialogue for *Born to Be Bad* (1950) and the story for *Air Cadet* (1951). He later worked extensively in television, serving as head writer on the daytime serials *Guiding Light* (1969–1979) and *As the World Turns* (1973–1984), and as a writer on *Another World* and *General Hospital*.
