Robert Sparr was an American television and film director, editor and screenwriter. Born on 10 September 1915 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, he began his career as an editor in the 1950s before moving into directing in the early 1960s.

He directed episodes of numerous series, including *Perry Mason*, *77 Sunset Strip*, *The Wild Wild West*, *Batman* and the *Star Trek* episode 'Shore Leave' (1966). His feature films as director include *A Swingin' Summer* (1965), which he also co-wrote, *More Dead Than Alive* (1968) and *Once You Kiss a Stranger* (1969).

Sparr was killed in a plane crash on 28 August 1969 in Colorado while scouting locations for the film *Barquero*.
