## Biography

Robert Watts (23 May 1938 – 30 September 2024) was a British film producer and production manager. He began working in the industry in 1960 after National Service, starting as a runner and progressing to roles on films including *2001: A Space Odyssey* (1968) and *Papillon* (1973).

Watts collaborated extensively with George Lucas and Lucasfilm. He served as production supervisor on *Star Wars* (1977), associate producer on *The Empire Strikes Back* (1980) and *Raiders of the Lost Ark* (1981), co-producer on *Return of the Jedi* (1983), and producer on *Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom* (1984) and *Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade* (1989). He also produced *Who Framed Roger Rabbit* (1988) and *Alive* (1993).

His half-brother was actor Jeremy Bulloch, who played Boba Fett in the original *Star Wars* trilogy. Watts was the grandson of screenwriter Walter Meade.
