## Biography

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is an American playwright, screenwriter and comic book writer. He wrote the screenplay for the 2013 film *Carrie* and contributed as a writer to the television series *Glee* (2011–14).

He studied at Georgetown University, McGill University and the Yale School of Drama. Aguirre-Sacasa began his career writing plays before working in comics for Marvel and later Archie Comics, where he became chief creative officer. His television credits include writing and producing on *Big Love* (2009–11) and showrunning *Riverdale* (2017–23), *Chilling Adventures of Sabrina* (2018–20) and *Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin* (2022).
