Born on 7 May 1968 in Los Angeles, California, he began his career in the 1990s on animated series including *Biker Mice from Mars* (1993) and *The Incredible Hulk* (1996).

Brigstocke is known for his work on the animated series *King of the Hill* (1997–2010), where he directed 11 episodes between 2004 and 2008. He also contributed to the show in other capacities, including as a storyboard supervisor, storyboard artist and assistant director.
