## Biography

Robin Curtis is an American actress. She was born on 15 June 1956 in New York Mills, New York, and graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1978 with a degree in theatre and communications.

Curtis is best known for playing Lieutenant Saavik in *Star Trek III: The Search for Spock* (1984) and *Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home* (1986), replacing Kirstie Alley in the role. Her film debut was in *Ghost Story* (1981). She later appeared as Tallera in the *Star Trek: The Next Generation* episodes "Gambit" (1993) and in series including *Knight Rider*, *MacGyver* and *Babylon 5*.

She has also worked as a real estate agent and made occasional appearances at conventions.
