Robyn Hitchcock is an English actor and musician. Born on 3 March 1953 in Paddington, London, he is credited as an actor in Jonathan Demme's *The Manchurian Candidate* (2004), playing Laurent Tokar, and *Rachel Getting Married* (2008), as a wedding guest.

Primarily a singer-songwriter and guitarist, Hitchcock came to prominence in the late 1970s with the band The Soft Boys before pursuing a solo career. He has also contributed music to several films and collaborated with Demme on the 1998 concert documentary *Storefront Hitchcock*.

He is the son of science fiction writer Raymond Hitchcock.
