Roderick Young is a cinematographer. He served as one of the cinematographers on the 1996 documentary *When We Were Kings*, directed by Leon Gast.

His other cinematography credits include *Wattstax* (1973), *As Above, So Below* (1973), *Passing Through* (1977), *Bush Mama* (1979) and *Soul Power* (2008). He has also worked in camera and electrical departments on titles including *Friday* (1995) and appeared as a pianist in *The Cat's Meow* (2001).
