## Biography

Rodolfo Sánchez is an Argentine cinematographer born in 1944. He began his career photographing films in Argentina before moving to Brazil, where he became a prominent figure in Latin American cinema.

Sánchez served as director of photography on *Pixote* (1980) and *Kiss of the Spider Woman* (1985), both directed by Héctor Babenco. He has collaborated with directors including Ana Carolina on *Amélia* (2000) and Ugo Giorgetti on the Boleiros films. In 2003 he won the Golden Kikito for Best Cinematography at the Festival de Gramado for *Noite de São João*.
