Roger Tucker (born 13 May 1945) is a British television and film director. Born in Bristol, England, he made his first film, *Karst*, at the age of 18; it screened at the 1965 British Film Institute Young Film-makers' Competition and won the Senior Trophy. He worked at Granada Television before becoming a freelance director in 1976.

Tucker has directed episodes of many British television series, including *Bergerac* (1981), *The Professionals*, *Dempsey and Makepeace* (1985), *Lovejoy* (1986), *The Bill* and *Crown Court*. He directed the 1986 television film *Deadly Recruits* and the feature film *Waiting for Dublin* (2007), which won the Seahorse Award for Best Feature Film by male filmmakers and the Audience Award at the Moondance International Film Festival.
